Kuala Lumpur's Botanical Gardens
is PEACEFUL SOUL
Lake Gardens is the park in the city's most popular area of 101.12 hectares in Kuala Lumpur. This park is located in the middle of Kuala Lumpur city and surrounded by places like Memorial Tun Razak, National Planetarium, National Museum, Butterfly Park, National Monument and Carcosa Seri Negara. This park is through some process improvements and on 30 September last year Lake Garden developed as a Botanical Garden.
Botanical Garden is now filled with various species of flowers,in addition to maintaining existing parks .It's character including old trees species that tens and hundreds of years old as mahogany, Tembusu, Ara and more.The park is 122 years old when built in 1888 by AR Venning with the original name of Lake Garden. In 1975, the name changed to Lake Gardens after upgraded.
Lake view area is loaded with a variety of unique plants, strange and interesting. Chinese visitors took the opportunity to do leisure activities. This lake has a short road to the National Museum and MRT are being built after the lane. Indeed Lake area close to many tourist attractions such as the Bird Park, Butterfly Park, Orchid Garden, National Monument, Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tun Abdul Razak Memorial, Planetarium, Police Museum, and Museum of Islamic Art.
There are roads to tourist sites are shaded with different trees .At Lake Playground alone there are two that can be enjoyed by Children. Parking may be a problem for visitors. Tram facilities are available on weekdays. Tram will lead visitors around the Lake and tourist sites I have mentioned above.
In the park there are some parks that can be visited such as Kancil and Deer Park and Garden Herbs. Eventually, the boat service will also be provided.
